Is there any point in taking individual actions to combat climate change when big corporations account for 20% of global carbon emissions? Stephen checks in with Mother Earth in search of some comfort and advice. I'm glad they hit the point that it's not the earth in need of saving, it's us. We've only ever known and built our modern society within the conditions enabled by the current climate. Our industrial activity is changing those conditions and we don't know what we're heading towards.

Seth takes a closer look at progressives in Congress pushing forward with a transformative $3.5 trillion spending plan that would invest heavily in climate infrastructure amid historic wildfires, droughts and flooding. If doing nothing could lead us to a solution, the US senate would be the perfect organization to lead mankind there.

We’re all familiar with the major effects of climate change, but a hotter Earth creates lots of smaller changes too: more female turtles, worse-tasting coffee, scary space junk and even less sex. I actually do appreciate Trevor discussing the less known effects. I remember learning about the issue of rising sand temps for sea turtles and other reptiles that also depends on temps for gender (some have the opposite issues where higher this means more male babies) back in college about ten years ago.
